Leong's Premolar

Photograph of a Leong's premolar.

There is a projected and fragile tooth structure on the chewing surface of a Leong’s premolar. If the projected tooth structure is fractured and left without proper treatment, the pulp of the tooth can be infected by bacteria and can lead to periapical infection, and even results in formation of an abscess.
