Activities Schedule

 

Sept 2025
Participating school nominates about 20 students to attend online leadership training programme to be trained as “Peer Leaders”(PLs)

 

Oct 2025 – Nov 2026
Nominated students have to attend real time training of core courses through virtual conferencing. The content of the courses include:

  1. Oral health knowledge: causes and prevention of dental caries and gum diseases
  2. Oral cleaning skills: proper toothbrushing and dental flossing skills
  3. Importance of regular dental check-ups and the details of Primary Dental Co-care Pilot Scheme for adolescent

 

Teacher can choose one session from the following dates. Course duration is 2 hours each and all sessions are identical.

  • 30th Oct 2025 (THU) 4:00pm
  • 8th Nov 2025 (SAT) 10:00 am
  • 12th Nov 2025 (WED) 4:00pm
  • 24th Nov 2025 (MON) 4:00pm

Mainly conducted in Cantonese. Please contact us if English speaking session is required

 

Nov 2025 – April 2026

  1. PLs was recommended to complete the online leadership training course which include: Leadership training, team building, interpersonal skills, ability to cope with changes, etc. Teachers are not required to record the attendance of leadership training.
  2. PLs may lead and complete a school-based oral health promotion activity. The activity may be initiated by the teacher and the participating students. Alternatively, you may participate in the activity recommended by Oral Health Promotion Division which will be announced later.

Primary Dental Co-care Pilot Scheme for Adolescents (PDCC)

The PDCC guides adolescents to foster long-term relationship with private dentists or dentists of NGOs by subsidising part of the cost of dental check-up ($200 annually), so as to promote their life-long habit of regular dental check-ups for prevention of dental diseases. Click here to JOIN NOW!
